A delusional man who identified himself as an “influencer” and “famous,” tried to get two people fired from their jobs at a Dollar Tree in El Paso, Texas. Their huge offense? Not providing him with the free bags he requested. The internet did what it does best: shaming him into oblivion.
TikToker daadisnacks (Daadi) reacted to the original clip posted by Chris Grohusko, which garnered relatively low views, likes, and comments back when he first uploaded it. He, however, wasn’t ready for a fresh new set of eyes reacting to his childish efforts to trigger the Dollar Tree employees.
Chris, in an attempt to get under a female employee’s nerves, continuously insisted on getting more double bags. The woman explained that the Texas man already had a bunch of them. However, Chris said he needed more, because apparently, he could “be throwing them around and they could get loose.”
After the employee said that wasn’t her problem, Chris asked, “If I’m just asking for something, you have to give me a hard time?“
“I want something, and you won’t give it to me, that’s how it goes?” he added.
Even though Chris decided to be as rude as possible, the woman still gave him an extra bag. He still complained, saying that the bag that was gifted to him was too big.
An Unhinged ‘Influencer’
The Texas man’s attitude didn’t stop there. He asked another employee for more bags and even tried to use his alleged internet popularity to get the free items. As of the writing of this article, Chris only has 1459 followers on TikTok. He calls himself an “astronomer and occasional photographer.”
“I do this for a living. I get paid big money to do this. I’m an influencer, bro. I’m famous,” he said. The patient Dollar Tree employe clapped back, saying, “I don’t care who you are.”
Furthermore, Chris posted the El Paso Dollar Tree’s address and even commented that the female employee was a “bully.” He added that she should be “at the stoplight with a cardboard sign as a new job.”
As expected, the backlash was guaranteed and instantaneous. While he deleted the video, Chris’s TikToks have been flooded with hundreds of angry users. All of them, unsurprisingly, mock and shame the Texas man for his behavior.
“How long till the comments are off?” one user asked. Another one commented, “Not asking for free bags on this video?” A third one said, “Did you ask for an extra bag?“
It appears that Chris’s dreams of ever becoming an online celebrity are now out of the question. If he so happens to post a viral TikTok ever again, maybe it should be for all the good reasons instead of being attempts at getting people fired for not putting up with his disrespect.
