Conquering the Gnomeregan Dungeon in Warcraft Rumble requires your best Undead Minis and more than a little spine. Each of the three bosses has methods of attacking multiple Minis at once, requiring durable tanks or Minis that summon multiple copies at a time. Choosing the right Relics and taking down the correct Guard Towers is crucial for your success. Here’s how you beat the Gnomeregan Dungeon to upgrade your Undead Minis. Let’s go make Arthas and his lich horde proud.

Best Relics for the Gnomeregan Dungeon

Choosing Relics that fit your strategy is vital to your success. The Undead Minis are great at summoning several Minis at a time or creating powerful tanks. Some Relics that work well are:

  • Stratholme Commendation: Summoning two Skeleton Mages with every Undead Mini deployment creates an army quickly. Skeleton Mages can also attack flying Minis which helps mitigate those threats.
  • Rich Purple Silk Shirt: Keeps your more costly Minis alive for a few extra seconds, which is valuable, especially for your Leader.
  • Bone Whistle: Playing your Leader summons two Skeleton Mages. Combined with Stratholme Commendation, that means deploying your Leader creates four Skeleton Mages.

These Relics help summon more bodies on the battlefield while increasing the longevity of your more expensive Minis. Swarming the battlefield seems counterproductive when enemies can hit multiple Minis at once. However, the constant summoning keeps your enemies on the defensive and allows you to gain more ground.

Defeating Crowd Pummeler 9-60

The Pummeler 9-60 is the first boss for the Gnomeregan Dungeon in Warcraft Rumble. He summons groups of Minis such as Chickens to swarm you. If you took Stratholme Commendation, summoning your Undead Minis helps you even the odds. Plague Farmers and Ghouls are cheap Minis that quickly build a Skeleton Mage army.

Take the Meeting Stone in the middle of the map which gives you a better position to respond to enemy deployments. The Meeting Stone’s position allows Gargoyles to perform better and reach the Pummeler with less interference. Skeleton Party and regular Skeletons Minis will also produce several bodies simultaneously, adding to the pressure.

The Pummeler can hit multiple Minis at once, but your steady stream of units will continue to damage it. Eventually, it won’t be able to cope with the swarm of Minis and fall after taking enough damage.

Defeating Electrocutioner 6000

The biggest threat for the Electrocutioner 6000 are the Rocket Turrets on the left and right sides of the map. If you don’t take them out and gain control of them, making any progress will be difficult. Focus on one side at a time, take one Rocket Turret, then focus on the other. This allows your Skeleton Mages to continue rising without being crushed by AoE attacks.

Getting close to the Electrocutioner is easy once you have taken both Rocket Turrets and turned them against the enemy. While the Electrocutioner can shock the battlefield, it won’t do much against your swarm of Minis. Taking the Rich Purple Silk Shirt Relic protects your Leader and other expensive Minis, letting them get close. Overwhelm the Electrocutioner and the battle is yours.

Defeating Mekgineer Thermaplugg

Defeating Mekgineer Thermaplugg must be done by damaging him with bombs that spawn from the center. You must be the dominant force on the battlefield, taking advantage of the Stratholme Commendation and Bone Whistle Relics to summon Skeleton Mages. Your Minis should swarm the battlefield and slowly overpower the enemy.

By overpowering the enemy Minis, the bombs in the center will start moving towards Mekgineer. There are no Towers or Meeting Stones to control; it’s just making sure you overpower the enemy. Continue to flood the battlefield with Undead Minis and Skeleton Mages to hold the advantage. Mekgineer will eventually fall to the bomb assault.

Once you beat the Gnomeregan Dungeon in Warcraft Rumble, you can replay the dungeon with greater difficulty. The same strategies will work as long as you get the right Relics and swarm your opponents. Use the Army Upgrades you get to strengthen your Minis for repeat visits.
