Warframe Coda Weapon Fast Farming Guide (Best Coda Weapons)

New toys, but don’t expect them to be shiny

Warframe‘s infested equivalent for the Kuva and Tenet weapons are finally here. The new Coda weapons are rightfully powerful and sought-after. It’s just that they’re also somewhat grindy to obtain and there’s no other way around that. There are ways to unlock or farm these Coda weapons faster in Warframe, of course. Along the way, we’re also going to give some recommendations on which ones to grab first.

How to Farm Coda Weapons Fast

As always, there are requirements, make sure you meet them so you can access Technocyte Coda. We have a guide on how to access the content as well as how to familiarize yourself with the Technocyte Coda.

Moreover, you won’t be farming weapons unlike in Kuva Lich or Tenet encounters. Instead, you’ll just be farming the currency needed to purchase them from Eleanor, called Live Heartcells. Each Coda weapon costs 10 Live Heartcells. Each successful Technocyte Coda vanquishing will reward anywhere from 10-15 Heartcells, which practically translates to 1-1.5 Coda weapon per Technocyte Coda unless you get lucky.

There are tips to accelerate earning Live Heartcells, however, and we’ll list the most notable ones below:

  • Equip the Quick Correct Potency Mod in your Parazon while hunting your active Technocyte Coda. This mod gives a “10% chance to drop a Live Heartcell” whenever you Mercy Kill a Technocyte Coda.
  • Try to get all the Antivirus Mods from the Bounty board in Hollvania Mall; alternatively, trade your duplicates with other players, and ask for the ones you’re missing.
  • Only play Infested Nodes in the 1999 mission map (the ones with green tentacles).
  • You can also buy Antivirus Mods and Potency Mods in the in-game Market using Platinum.
  • Pick quick missions such as Capture, Legacyte Harvest, and Exterminate (Public) when trying to encounter the Technocyte Coda.
  • When trying to get a Technocyte Coda, you can leave the mission after the hacking mini-game to speed up the process. No need to finish the rest of the mission.
  • Bring a fast Warframe like Titania, Volt, Gauss, or Wukong.
  • Always play in Public squads when hunting Technocyte Coda.
  • Always Vanquish the Technocyte Coda since Converting them won’t give Live Heartcells.

Best Coda Weapons to Get First

Once you have accumulated enough Live Heartcells, I recommend the following Coda weapons as they have the best potential for meta or being overpowered:

  • Coda Sporothrix
  • Coda Catabolyst
  • Coda Synapse
  • Coda Pathocyst
  • Coda Hirudo
  • Coda Caustacyst
  • In general, buy the one with the highest elemental percentage.

Keep in mind that the availability of these weapons from Eleanor is rotational so you might want to wait until they’re available. Additionally, if you have a Riven mod for any Coda weapon, go ahead and grab it regardless of the recommendation above.
