This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Warframe‘s Whispers in the Walls update or Update 35 has introduced a new boss and it’s one of the freakiest ones yet. The Fragmented One, which you can fight in Effervo, Deimos is the game’s most imaginative enemy yet. Rightfully so, the developers have made the fight more special or prolonged so you can savor it. That also means it can be more difficult. So a Warframe Fragmented One boss guide is warranted.

Here are some tips we’d like to share to make the Fragmented One boss fight a smoother experience.

Pick an Agile & Tanky Warframe That Lets You Ignore Enemies

The preliminary stage of the fight involves catching glowing Murmur Eyes to help you locate the Fragmented One boss. In the regular game mode, you need to collect 30 eyes, and on Steel Path, you need 60. Both are a lot of busy work. At the same time, the enemies can be bothersome; they will try to slow down the process of catching eyes.

So, we recommend a Warframe that can ignore enemy hits. At the same time, the Warframe should also be able to easily grab the glowing Murmur Eyes. The best candidate for that would be Wukong since you can just activate Cloud Walker instead of bullet-jumping.

Bring a High-Damage AoE Weapon

Something like Kuva Brahma, Tenet Arca Plasmor, or Kuva Zarr work all too well in this Assassination mission. Those aforementioned weapons can easily get rid of multiple Murmur enemies coming at you during the Murmur Eyes catching phase.

Moreover, during the actual boss fight with the Fragmented One, the Fragmented Tide will assault you before the final boss appears. Getting rid of them fast with a high-damage AoE weapon is a must if you want the fight to be quicker.

Make Use of Lohk Surge Buffs

Lohk Surges, which were introduced in the Echoes of Zariman update grant some temporary powerful buffs. As you can expect, they come in handy against the Fragmented One boss fight especially if you’re in Steel Path.

You might even encounter some of these Lohk Surges on the way to the boss arena. Make sure to keep an eye out.

Avoid Fighting the Fragmented One Boss Solo for Speed

With all that’s been said and done, collecting 30 to 60 Murmur Eyes can be quite the process even with a Wukong. So we recommend just bringing a squad with you, even if it’s just a public team.

Having three more pairs of arms and legs to help you grab the Murmur Eyes makes the Assassination mission a breeze. Sadly, the Murmur Eyes requirement doesn’t change with solo players as a consideration.

There Are Four Fragmented One Boss Types

The fancy thing about this new Warframe boss is how each run might differ from the last. That’s because the Fragmented One boss has four different types.

  • Fragmented Anchorite
  • Fragmented Suzerain
  • Fragmented Zelator
  • Fragmented One

The final type, the Fragmented One, is the most difficult out of all the types since it can nullify your Warframe abilities. The other three are pretty straightforward DPS checks which you can fight without much incident once you’re done picking up those damn Murmur Eyes.
