A viral TikTok video has captured yet another “Karen” meltdown, this time, in a West Virginia parking lot, where an unhinged woman went on a disturbing tirade that included threatening a pregnant woman and her unborn child. The original footage, posted by TikTok user @Bretty.Barbie, quickly made its way to Reddit, where it’s been dissected, memed, and collectively condemned.
The video opens mid-argument, with a visibly agitated woman screaming at two other women. The victim, who identifies herself as pregnant, calmly records the outburst while the suspect grows increasingly erratic, shouting, “Take a video! Go ahead, call them!” Her defiance only worsens when one of the women suggests she looks like she’s on drugs, which seems to strike a nerve.
Moments later, the situation takes a sinister turn. After the pregnant woman mentions her condition, the aggressor sneers, “You wanna keep your baby?” a chilling statement that sent viewers reeling. The line, arguably one of the most disturbing moments in any recent “Karen” clip, underscored just how volatile and dangerous the encounter had become.
Throughout the altercation, the woman also claims to “own the whole shop” they’re standing outside, insisting she “runs the town.” But given her erratic demeanor and slurred speech, that claim only fueled speculation that drugs were involved. Reddit users wasted no time labeling her “the West Virginia Methanny,” with one commenter quipping, “A strong gust will definitely carry that lady to an entirely different time zone.”
While the cause of the altercation remains unclear, the aftermath provided a dose of poetic justice. In a follow-up TikTok, @Bretty.Barbie shared the woman’s mugshot (where she’s visibly distraught and crying) after reportedly being arrested for trespassing and assaulting an officer. The internet’s response was, predictably, unforgiving. One Redditor summed up the collective sentiment with: “Seeing her mugshot was so satisfying.”
The comment section became a gallery of biting humor and disbelief. From remarks on her appearance (“She’s 41 looking 55”) to disbelief at her height (“She’s 6 foot 1, wow”), users didn’t hold back. Still, amid the jokes, several commenters zeroed in on the seriousness of her threat. As one put it, “It’ll be better once the prosecutor reviews the video for assault and battery.”
The pregnant victim, whose identity remains private, has not publicly commented beyond the video, but her calm restraint in the face of aggression earned her widespread praise.
As far as “Karen” encounters go, this one veered from absurd to alarming. What began as a public tantrum escalated into a potential assault, culminating in an arrest that feels almost scripted in its irony.
