The Sims 4 just got a huge update that changed how families work in the game. Just as if the game didn’t have enough systems already, it hits us with another one. Thankfully, it isn’t too hard to master. With the new update, the family system is more elaborate now, and that means you’ll need to set up some things for your household to work better. In this case, we’re talking about family dynamics in The Sims 4. This system will make the interaction between your Sims a bit more personal and bring life to your home. So, if you want to know what Family Dynamics are in The Sims 4, we’ll tell you right here.
Family Dynamics in The Sims 4
Family Dynamics are a set of options that’ll let you change how your Sims interact with each other. These relationships can affect parents and children, and even spouses. This adds another layer of complexity to the game and will let you customize your home even further. These are the Family Dynamics in The Sims 4:
- Close
- Distant
- Supportive
- Permissive
- Difficult
- Strict
- Jokesters
All of these dynamics behave differently. A parent with a Strict dynamic will scold their children more often, while a Permissive one won’t. The same applies to Distant and Close dynamics. Your Sims will behave according to the dynamic you’ve set.
