If you’ve spent any time in this growing simulator, you know how addictive it is to farm and build the perfect garden. But behind all that fun lies one thing that keeps everything running. Whether you’re buying seeds or upgrading pets, you’re going to need plenty of money. That’s where Sheckles came in. For those wondering what Sheckles are and how to make a lot of them fast, here’s our quick Roblox Grow a Garden guide.
Sheckles, Explained

Sheckles are the primary in-game currency in Grow a Garden. Whether you’re buying seeds, pets, or helpful gear, you’re going to need a hefty stash of Sheckles. Thankfully, there’s no known cap on how many you can earn. You can always keep farming and stacking as much as you want.
Your current Sheckle balance is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen. You can also check the leaderboard in the top right to see how you stack up against other players in the server.
Now, are you wondering where the name came from? Roblox Grow a Garden developers haven’t officially confirmed it, but many believe Sheckles is a playful twist on Shekel. An ancient Mesopotamian currency made of silver. Israel also replaced its Israeli pound currency, also known as the lira, with the shekel in 1980.
The Best Way to Earn Sheckles

As you know, the most basic way to earn Sheckles is simple: sell your harvested fruits at the Sell Stuff stand. The more fruits and crops you farm, the more you earn. You can also sell unwanted pets either at Raphael’s Pet Shop or at the Sell Stuff stand. But as you progress, there are better and more efficient methods to stack up your currency.
First, there is a pet that can generate Sheckles. Legendary pets like the Mole can dig up treasure every 80 seconds, occasionally rewarding you with extra Sheckles or gear.
The more the merrier, as they say. Apparently, having friends in the same server gives you a +10% Sheckle bonus for every friend. With that in mind, always run some co-op farming every time you can.
If you want to farm Sheckles as efficiently as possible, aim for high-value crops:
- Candy Blossom (Easter Event 2025): One of the best regular earners with a base selling price of around 94,000 Sheckles per fruit. Seeds cost 10,000,000 Sheckles during the event.
- Moon Mango (Lunar Glow Event): Originally sold at 200,000 Sheckles per fruit, it was temporarily nerfed to 40,000 but restored after community uproar. The seed can be obtained for a whopping 1,000,000,000 Sheckles or 999 Robux at the Twilight Shop.
Last but not least, there is an extremely rare weather phenomenon called Sheckle Rain. As you can expect, the sky will turn gold and golden coins will literally fall from the sky. Each pickup gives around 30 Sheckles. Unfortunately, this only happens when an admin pops over to your server and manually activates it. This effect cannot occur naturally, so don’t
Can You Give Sheckles to Other Players in Roblox Grow a Garden?
Currently, you cannot directly give Sheckles to other players. Trading currency is not a supported feature, likely to avoid abuse or unbalanced trading systems.
Is It Worth Buying Sheckles in Roblox Grow a Garden with Robux?

Technically yes, but honestly? Shelling out real cash for Sheckles is not recommended by the Roblox Grow a Garden community. The exchange rate is considered poor value compared to the amount of money you’ll need to spend.
For example, buying 1 million Sheckles with Robux would cost you around $128. Trying to purchase 1 billion Sheckles? That would run you over $128,000. Simply grinding them in-game would have been the better way.
