The newest Disney Plus Star Wars series, Ahsoka, has finally come to the service with a two-episode premiere. The show sees Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) hunt down Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) who is hiding somewhere in the galaxy, biding his time. Remarkably, Ahsoka has departed from the usual Disney Plus release time. Originally it was slated to release at the usual slot on a Wednesday. But, before the first two episodes were released, the air time was slightly moved up, changing what day Ahsoka airs. So, let’s look at Ahsoka‘s current release time to let you know when to boot up Disney Plus.

What Day Does Ahsoka Air? Answered

Instead of releasing on a Wednesday,  the day Ahsoka airs is now on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT. The first episodes did not premiere on August 23 as they were released several hours earlier on August 22, 2023. So, you can watch Ahsoka and Sabine Wren’s (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) journey around the galaxy before you go to sleep, rather than having to squeeze it before work or avoid spoilers all day. With this in mind, you might be wondering how the schedule will work moving forward, and if Ahsoka will be sticking to Tuesdays.

Fortunately, the release schedule for Ahsoka going forward is pretty simple. For now, the episodes are slated to be released once a week at the same time every Tuesday until the season ends. As far as we know Ahsoka is only one season, consisting of eight episodes. Here is the full release schedule for when Ahsoka drops on Disney Plus:

  • Ahsoka – Episode 1: Part One: Master and Apprentice and Episode 2: Part Two: Toil and Trouble was released on August 22, 2023.
  • Ahsoka – Episode 3 will be released on August 29, 2023.
  • Ahsoka – Episode 4 will be released on September 5, 2023.
  • Ahsoka – Episode 5 will be released on September 12, 2023.
  • Ahsoka – Episode 6 will be released on September 19, 2023.
  • Ahsoka – Episode 7 will be released on September 26, 2023.
  • Ahsoka – Episode 8 will be released on October 3, 2023.

As Ahsoka is a miniseries, the final episode of the show will be released on October 3. This means that even though there are six more episodes to go, it will be finished in just over a month. The first two episodes were met with a mostly positive reaction from both critics and the audience, so if you’re a Star Wars fan, it’s probably worth checking out Ahsoka on Tuesdays on Disney Plus.
