What To Do With PDAs in Stalker 2? Answered

Dead weight and digital discounts

0.2 kg is just enough to get you killed in Stalker 2: Shadow of Chornobyl. Between raiding stashes, ambushing stalkers, and wooing the various factions, there’s always a way to profit. The problem is what to do with all that loot when it starts to weigh you down. Although they don’t weigh much, enough PDAs can clutter your inventory, reduce your run speed, and mess with your stamina. Some contain valuable info, however, so many Stalkers will be reluctant to part with them. Here’s what to do with PDAs in Stalker 2.

PDAs are mostly dead weight, but you can get traders to take them off your hands. Although they won’t make you a fortune, they’re enough to buy some bullets and bandages. If you’re trying to farm coupons by clearing stashes or doing raids, you’ll probably end up with a backpack full of PDAs anyway. You might as well carry them back to town to sell if you can handle the weight. To summarize, here are your options:

  • Sell to a trader for some coupons
  • Drop from your inventory to clear space
  • Store in your private locker

Although many PDAs contain valuable info related to quests, you don’t have to keep them for that purpose. PDAs related to sidequests will automatically add their info to your Notes when you pick them up, so you can sell them freely. Stalker 2 won’t let you sell any PDAs that are essential for a quest, so if a trader will take it, you’re good to go. If you haven’t already given the Notes you’ve collected a browse, it’s wise to do so. Sidequests pile up quickly in the Exclusion Zone. We wouldn’t want to lose track of any treasure.
