Want to know what to upgrade first in Dave The Diver? Starting your adventures in Dave The Diver, you will have to create a successful fish restaurant, hire new employees, and try to satisfy all the needs of your visitors. But one of the most essential parts of the game is catching fish. Twice a day, you must dive into the depths of the Blue Hole and look for marine life. Good equipment, Air Tanks, and weapons are critical to success in Dave The Diver, but what should you upgrade first?

Before we begin, we advise all players not to rush things. At first, there will be enough fish that swim in shallow water to make your restaurant profitable. You must understand that the depths of Blue Hole are home to many threatening monsters; you are just food on their festive table. So, practice swimming as much as possible, learn to correctly calculate your air supply, and become familiar with using your Harpoon.

But once you get used to the basic game mechanics, it’s time to move on to upgrades. Firstly, after playing for a while, you will feel what you are missing and what is worth upgrading. But we still recommend upgrading the Harpoon and the Air Tanks simultaneously. Air supply affects how long you can explore underwater locations.

In addition, Air Tank gives you a chance to survive if you make a mistake and stay underwater for too long. At the same time, the upgrade for Harpoon will allow you to catch more armored fish or kill weaker ones faster.

Once you’ve improved your Harpoon and Air Tank, upgrade your Inventory a few times to collect more fish and get more money for new upgrades. And having made your character more equipped, start slowly diving deeper, gradually improving your Diving Suit.

Finally, it is worth noting that all parts of your equipment are essential because one cannot function well without the others. But survival comes first, so weapons and Air Tanks are the first things you should upgrade in Dave The Diver. And then slowly improve everything you need. However, the game won’t kill you for any mistake, so play to your heart’s content and upgrade your gear as needed.

Dave the Diver is available now on PC.
