There are only two ways to know how a person truly is: their music tastes and depending on who their Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth waifu is. Today, we’ll focus on the latter. While we all remember our first square-polygon love from the PSOne era, Square Enix has graced us with high-definition characters for Rebirth, and we couldn’t be more thankful. And while everybody has different tastes on who the best lady in the game is, certain characters say more about a person than you might think.
1. Aerith
Oh, Aerith, everyone’s first love and heartbreak. Most of us still remember your polygons lying on Cloud’s blocky hands. She’s hard to forget, and even harder than ever since we saw her in Remake. Undoubtedly, Aerith is the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth waifu with the purest heart of all. If you like her, chances are you’re like her. In other words, you’re likely the caring member of your friends, the paternal figure of your group. Furthermore, we bet our money on you always choosing healing roles in any MMO you play.
Those who follow the church of Aerith are usually upbeat people. It’s hard to see someone who simps for this lady frowning, and we don’t blame you. Her energy is extremely contagious. Also, you might have a long-lost love you want to replace with someone else. Yeah, that is a bit weird, but we don’t judge. Either way, having an Aerith fan around is always great.
2. Elena
My fellow OCD gang, rise! That’s the type of people who love Elena, and it isn’t bad. If you’re a fan of this Turk, chances are you’re a workaholic. You do overtime at the office even if you don’t have to. Whenever the boss asks about someone doing a coffee run, you’re already in the elevator carrying your custom-made coffee trays. Your workspace? The cleanest in the building, which only reflects how much of a perfectionist you are when working.
However, being an Elena fan comes with a few caveats. To start, you talk more than necessary during meetings. Further, we can almost assure you that you’ve spilled the beans about a top-secret office project more than once. It’s gotten you in trouble, but you still make it to the top by being the most dedicated employee around. Oh yeah, if you have a sibling, you hate them. Sorry, we don’t make the rules.
3. Scarlet
Since this is a family-friendly site, we won’t go overboard with Scarlet fans. You know your kinks, though. Those who worship Scarlet love a strong female figure next to them. You don’t mind being stepped on. And yes, we mean that literally. If your crush told you to do their homework or project and pick them up from their home every day while not paying for your gas, you’d be thrilled.
Look, liking powerful and dominant ladies isn’t bad at all. It’s become more acceptable nowadays. Just ask any Honkai Star Rail fan. That’s why 2024 is the safest year to have a crush on a dommy-mommy kind of girl. As long as you don’t cross over to the dark side and start treating your peers badly, you’re good.
4. Tifa
If Scarlet is the equivalent of Bayonetta as a villain, Tifa is the opposite. Our Seventh Heaven bartender has motherly instincts all over the place, and chances are you’re like that, or look for something like that. If you practice Tifa’s teachings, you’re the first one to help your friends. You don’t mind jumping in front of them to protect them at any cost. However, it comes with a price.
You’re a reserved person. When it comes to emotions, you find it difficult to explain how you feel. You’re the living example of someone giving the best advice ever but never applying it to your own problems. Still, you’re reliable, strong, and empathic, something the world needs more of nowadays.
5. Yuffie
You’re a weeb. Period. I say that respectfully, though. I am one, too. Liking anime or anything related to Japan isn’t bad. When you saw the trailer for Intergrade, you were the first to pre-order it just to use everyone’s favorite Ninja. In Rebirth, you ditch anyone and use Yuffie as your main character. Furthermore, you play the game in Japanese, which I personally feel is the best way to experience it.
Beyond that, you’re a rebellious person. In school, you started a few dining hall fights with your friends. If you saw an injustice in the classroom, you were the first to rise up and the first to be called to the principal’s office. Even if some might think you’re a loose cannon, you have proven to be a reliable friend in many situations.
And there you have it. Our reliable psychoanalysis, which depends entirely on your favorite waifu in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Alright, we might not be experts in the subject, but we’ve played the franchise enough to know the ins and outs of how this works. And you know what, everyone’s great. The love for waifus is something that transcends time and space, ends blog wars, and brings people together. Regardless of who your favorite girl is, you’ll always find a new friend when talking about them.
