Where to Find Slither Wing in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The huge moth-like Pokémon, Slither Wing, can only be found in Pokémon Scarlet. However, it lives in a very specific location within the game. You can only find Slither Wing in the Great Crater of Paldea. However, you’ll have to complete a couple of extra steps to get there. Since Paradox Pokémon were added into the game to give players something to do after they’ve finished the main storylines of the game, you’ll have to complete Victory Road, Path of Legends, and Starfall Street. Completing these all will unlock Area Zero, or the Great Crater of Paldea, for you.
Once you’ve made sure that you are not only on Pokémon Scarlet but also have the campaigns completed, you’ll need to head to Area Zero. Once you’re there, head Northwest until you reach an area that has a purple color to it. This is the easiest place to find Slither Wing. However, you can also scope out the areas of the map above the Research Station. Anywhere that is pretty elevated on the Northern areas of the Great Crater of Paldea will house Slither Wing.
Now, Slither Wing isn’t an extremely common spawn, so it may take you a little while to catch one or yourself. Just keep at it and be persistent. You should find and catch Slither Wing in Pokémon Scarlet in no time!
If you’re looking to catch Slither Wing’s futuristic counterpart, simply head to the same area in Pokémon Violet and search for Iron Moth rather than Slither Wing. Iron Moth should be around the same areas and spawn just as often as Slither Wing does.
Following this guide, you should have no problem catching Slither Wing in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Be sure to check back for more guides, and as always, have fun!
