Want to know where to find Aspect of Ancestral Echoes in Diablo 4? Choosing a class, finding the best gear, and upgrading specific skills are integral steps in creating the perfect build. But among other things, do not forget about aspects that can significantly expand your abilities. Of course, playing as a reckless Barbarian sweeping away everything in its path, you do not need anyone’s help. But if you use Aspect of Ancestral Echoes, you can summon an ancestral spirit that will repeat your attacks. So if that’s what you’re looking for, we’re here to help you and tell you where to find Aspect of Ancestral Echoes in Diablo 4.
How To Get Aspect of Ancestral Echoes in Diablo 4
The Aspect of Ancestral Echoes is the legendary aspect of the offensive type for the Barbarian class. And you can put it on 1H and 2H Weapons, Gloves, Rings, and Amulets. Thanks to Aspect of Ancestral Echoes, while Call of the Ancients is on your Action Bar, each of your attacks with Leap, Upheaval, or Whirlwind has up to a 40-50% chance to summon an Ancient to perform the same Skill. However, this ability can only trigger once every 5 seconds. So, you can double some of your damage and increase your overall DPS.
Fortunately, as the legend of the Sanctuary world says, it was the Barbarians who kept the Eye of Anu, the relic of all the worlds. So knowledge about some of the abilities of the Barbarians has been preserved not only on ancient legendary items but also in the depths of dangerous dungeons. And if you want to find Aspect of Ancestral Echoes in Diablo 4, you have two options:
- First, you can add the Aspect of Ancestral Echoes to your Codex of Power by completing the Ancient Reservoir dungeon.
- The second way is to extract the aspect from the legendary item by visiting Occultist.

If you chose the first option, you should head to the east coast of the Sanctuary in the Rotspill Delta area of the Hawezar region. You’ll notice the entrance to the Ancient Reservoir dungeon at the northern edge of the Rotspill Delta, but you can also look at the exact coordinates in the image above. Once you get through all the corridors and defeat the final boss of Tomb Lord, you will complete this dungeon. As a reward for your efforts, you will add the Aspect of Ancestral Echoes to your Codex of Power and will be able to imprint it onto your items.
The second method is more random than the Codex of Power but does not require preparation and strategy. All you have to do is find a legendary item with an Aspect of Ancestral Echoes inside and extract it by visiting Occultist. When playing on World Tier 1 or 2, there will be only a few ways to get legendary items, so we recommend you unlock World Tier 3 as soon as possible.
Once you reach this stage, you can easily collect legendary items by fighting World Bosses, participating in Helltide Events, or completing dungeons. In addition, you can buy legendary items from the Purveyor of Curiosities for Murmuring Obols.
It is worth noting that the legendary item method is available earlier than the dungeon, but it still has several drawbacks. First, the previous item that contained the aspect will be destroyed during the extraction process. Secondly, the Aspect of Ancestral Echoes obtained this way is one-time, unlike the Codex of Power. So you’ll have to look for new legendary items if you want to imprint Aspect of Ancestral Echoes on other pieces of your gear again.
Diablo 4 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
