This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Though Dervish and Banges is an excellent place to visit in Hogwarts Legacy, most players don’t know where to find it. As with many smaller shops in Hogsmeade, it’s not shown on the map, so figuring out where it is can be difficult. Rather than wandering around Hogsmeade hoping to find it eventually, wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to show you exactly where it is? Well, you’re in luck. We’re here to tell you everything you need to know about how to find Dervish and Banges in Hogwarts Legacy today, so keep reading to find out more!

Dervish and Banges might not be listed as a post of interest on the map, but it’s quite simple to find, so long as you know where to look. First, you’ll want to head into Hogsmeade. Once you’re there, head toward the Gladrags Wizardwear shop. If you head inside the shop, you’ll notice that the interior of the building is split into two storefronts: Gladrags Wizardwear, which you can purchase gear from, and Dervish and Banges, which is just for show. The two locations have different entrances from outside the shops, but they both lead to the exact location: a combined shop.

Even though you can’t purchase anything from Dervish and Banges, that doesn’t mean the location is entirely useless. Once you head inside, you will find a Demiguise Moon statue sitting on the counter and an Eyeball Chest to the right where you enter the shop. That being said, you need to enter into Dervish and Banges to unlock Alohamora III, which can help a bit with Galleons.

To open the Eyeball Chest, you’ll have to approach it with your Disillusionment Spell active so that it doesn’t get spooked by your presence and allows you to open it. After you finally get it open, it will reward you with 500 Galleons you can take over to Gladrags Wizardwear to spend.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
