If you’re looking for an ideal location to grind XP in Diablo 4, the Domhainne Tunnels is one of the best spots with tons of enemies to farm. Also referred to by some in the community as the “Dopamine Tunnels,” this location offers high XP rewards and plenty of loot sellable for gold with each run. Filled with Goatmen and Bats, Domhainne Tunnels was one of the best farming locations during the first season, and it still holds up its name as the “Dopamine Tunnels” in Season 2.

Domhainne Tunnels is located in Strand, a Scolsgen subregion, in the northeastern part of Sanctuary and Cerrigar and east of the Corback waypoint. One of the primary reasons the tunnels are an ideal farming location is because it’s so close to the waypoint, meaning you can return quickly and reset the dungeon.

The corridors in this dungeon are very narrow, with many mob hordes swarming close together. This will allow you to clear a massive group of enemies quickly. The Domhainne Tunnels contains many elite mobs and a large number of normal mobs, granting you tons of XP from kills. If you take Nightmare Sigils with you, mob density will increase, and their number will double.

The Domhainne Tunnels are great for your AoE attacks and allow you to defeat all enemies simultaneously in Diablo 4. Consider using builds and abilities that deal lots of damage in a concentrated area, allowing you to mow down the mobs easily. Still, keep an eye on your HP, as the number of enemies will be excessive, causing you to quickly get stuck in tight corners.

In particular, the Blood Clan Maulers wielding the giant, two-handed cleavers are opponents that can potentially stun you for a few moments. While each individual monster doesn’t deal much damage, the massive swarms can quickly take you down if you end up getting stuck, so be cautious of the Maulers’ swings.

In conclusion, the Domhainne Tunnels is a short, linear dungeon that offers a solid amount of XP per run. The Corback waypoint is very close, so you shouldn’t have a problem returning to this dungeon quickly. We recommend you use an XP elixir to further boost your speed-leveling endeavors.
