Where to Find Finger Ruins of Dheo (& O Mother Gesture Location) in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

The Finger Ruins of Dheo in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdree lies in the northeastern section of the map. It’s the partner location of the Finger Ruins of Rhia and a place related to a certain questline (or if you’re just curious). Getting there is complicated, as usual. So, I’ve prepared a guide to help you find the Finger Ruins of Dheo in the Elden Ring DLC, along with a key item for opening the way, the O Mother Gesture.

How To Get the O Mother Gesture in Elden Ring

Before you can get to the Finger Ruins of Dheo, you need the O Mother Gesture. Here’s how to find it based on the map image above. The green trail is for surface traversal, and the red trail is for underground/indoor traversal.

1. Start in Moorth Ruins (Grace), Scadu Altus.
2. Head southeast, and look for a hole in the ground surrounded by ruins. Enter the underground ruins.
3. You’ll come out in Bonny Village (Grace). Continue to the village.
4. Cross the shallow village chasm and head north. You’ll find the O Mother Gesture in front of an altar.

Equip O Mother in your gesture slots. You’ll need it for later. Now it’s time to find the Finger Ruins of Dheo.

Finger Ruins of Dheo Location in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

You’ve already unlocked Bonny Village, and you can start there. Refer to the image above. Again, the green trail is surface traversal, and the red trail is underground/indoor traversal.

It will get complicated and maze-like once you’ve reached the Shadow Keep, but the path should be linear as long as you look for ladders, stairs, and elevators and if you don’t fall. Here are some specific instructions for the Finger Rhuins of Dheo (and Shadow Keep checkpoints).

1. Start in Bonny Village (Grace). Head east, past Bonny Village.
2. Cross the two long rope bridges northeast, and follow the road north.
3. Turn northwest, and keep following the road. This should take you to the Shadow Keep, Church District which is flooded.
4. No need to do anything about the flood, just progress through the area (and don’t fall into the water).
5. You’ll eventually reach the really tall elevator leading into the Storehouse, Back Section (Grace) of Shadow Keep.
6. Keep going up through ladders, stairs, or elevators. Reach the Storehouse, Loft (Grace). Then take the wooden elevator.
7. You’ll need to cross the large wooden beams and fight through bat enemies afterward. Follow the ladders and a balcony that leads outside.
8. Take several elevators down, and you’ll eventually find the way to Shadow Keep, Back Gate (Grace).
9. From the Shadow, Keep Back Gate (Grace), take the room to the right, and perform the ‘O Mother’ Gesture in front of the headless altar of Marika. The altar should move and reveal a hidden door.
10. Enter this door and from there, keep heading east then southeast. It’s a linear path to the Finger Ruins of Dheo.

The area is full of the most hideous and frustrating enemies in the game, so be prepared to lose some Runes (and some dignity).
