The Finger Ruins of Rhia in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is a necessary location for one of the game’s questlines (Ymir questline). You need it to unlock one of the most horrific bosses in the DLC. But getting there might leave you clueless even with the map that Father Ymir will give you. So, instead, you can use my map, which comes with clear instructions on where to find the Finger Ruins of Rhia in Elden Ring.
Start by Finding the Cerulean Coast
For the map image above, the green trail is surface traversal, and the red trail is underground traversal to remove confusion. Follow these further specific instructions below since you will still need to perform some dangerous stunts for this trail:
- Start at Castle Front (Grace) just before Castle Ensis.
- Follow the 1st green trail, and gradually jump down the cliffs using Torrent. Ignore the bat enemies.
- Once you get down to the large pond with the crabs, look for a cave entrance near the giant flower enemies.
- Enter this cave (1st red trail). It will lead you to Ellac River Cave (Grace).
- From Ellac River Cave, go down south, follow the river, past Ellac River Downstream (Grace), past the Furnace Golem, and into Cerulean Coast.
We’re not done yet, you will still need to go from Cerulean Coast to the Finger Ruins of Rhia. You might need to fight a dragon, depending on how good you are at escaping with Torrent. On to the next step.
Cerulean Coast to Finger Ruins of Rhia
This is thankfully easier than finding the Cerulean Coast.
- From the Cerulean Coast (Grace), go south.
- You might encounter a dragon, but you can just run past it with Torrent. If it knocks you down, prepare for a fight or prepare to die and run past it.
- Head east once you’re well past the watery parts and look for a narrow pathway beside the large bridge ruins.
- Continue along the coast and ignore the Fingercreepers.
- Head north once you see the bridge ruins and jump over the bridge ruins with Torrent.
- Touch the Finger Ruins of Rhia (Grace) before proceeding.
Not much happens in this area, sadly, apart from some freaky enemies that give poor rewards. You only need it for a quest or for making wallpapers.
