While Once Human looks like a run-of-the-mill survival game, it has many side activities and quests players can tackle, such as the Lost in Madness mission. When exploring Coastside Plaza, you might encounter a building full of occult stuff and creatures. You will find the Cultist Treasure Map of Once Human if you’re brave enough to enter it. With this item in your possession, it is time to begin a treasure hunt that’ll take you into some mid to late-game areas of this title.
Once Human: Cultist Treasure Map Location
To find the Cultist Treasure Map in Once Human, which triggers the Lost in Madness quest, you must do the following:
- Open your map and move your cursor all the way to the east; you’ll find Coastside Plaza.
- Head to it by unlocking the nearest Teleportation Tower or by traveling on foot or on your motorcycle.
- Once inside this location, head to the center of the plaza and look for the BN Mart building. You can use the above image as a reference.
- Enter the building and defeat all enemies. There’s an enemy spawner on the right behind some shelves; destroy it first.
- After you defeat all Deviants, turn to your right until you spot the ritual circle. Interact with it, and you’ll get the Cultist Treasure Map.
To use the map, open your inventory and head to the Special tab. From there, press F to open it and see the clues.
Finding the Cultists’ Stash
Initially, pinpointing the Cultist Treasure Map’s location in Once Human might be difficult, especially since the Lost in Madness quest doesn’t have a marker. However, you can find it fast by using the image we’ve provided. The treasure is in Believers Colony, which is below Chalk Peak’s Monolith; it should be easy to find.
Note: You can’t reach the location until you progress through the main story. Chalk Peak is a level 36+ area, and if you cross the barrier to enter this place, you’ll die instantly. I recommend progressing through the main missions until you reach this area naturally.
Once inside this place, you’ll discover a few more things and quests we don’t want to spoil because they are quite fun, but in short, this is where the map leads you. What happens next is up to you to discover, but if you don’t mind the advice, bring a few good weapons and prepare for a few Deviant encounters.
