For those playing Agatha Harkness’ sidequest in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you understand just how long this questline can get. During this quest, you’re tasked to find The Hanging Tree. This is the last clue you need to locate the Moon Seal. So, it’s mandatory to find it. To save you some time, we’ll show you where you can find The Hanging Tree in Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

The Hanging Tree Location in Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Where to Find The Hanging Tree in Marvel's Midnight Suns

Once you deliver the stained soil samples to Agatha, she’ll reveal to you a picture of The Hanging Tree as the final clue. It is an area that you might have already seen during your time in the game but never given too much attention to it before.

So, where is The Hanging Tree in Marvel’s Midnight Suns? Well, it’s actually close to a Haven location, so if you haven’t visited that one before, you may be able to kill two birds with one stone during this sidequest.

We have highlighted The Hanging Tree on the map above. However, to get there, you can start at Agatha’s Cottage. From there, head southwest. Alternatively, you can also start your journey at Shaw’s Church and simply head west.

No matter where you begin, you will find The Hanging Tree in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, located near the Old Salem Cemetery.

Thankfully, there is no way for you to miss The Hanging Tree once you are in the area. It is a broken-looking tree that is covered in glowing green runes. There are also candles surrounding the base of the tree.

When you find The Hanging Tree in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you’re not quite done with the sidequest just yet. You must use Reveal Word of Power on the tree. Once you do, a cutscene will play out, and the Moon Seal is then uncovered. Once that happens, the Moon Seal will show up on the ground next to the tree.

From there, you can take the Moon Seal and head to your next destination to continue with the quest. This will lead to the Trial of the Elder Gods: Hyppus.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available on PC, PS5, and PS4 systems, Xbox One and Series consoles.
