Dave the Diver is one of the deepest (no pun intended) indie games ever made. This title features some of the most fun mini-games ever and has one of the sweetest gameplay loops. Anyone can fall in love with its rogue-like elements and underwater exploration. For the latter, there are many places to discover in the Blue Hole, yet some are only accessible after reaching certain parts of the story. The Limestone Cave in Dave the Diver is a place you’ll often visit if you want to progress through the story or catch some fish. Today, we’ll tell you how to reach this location in the game.

The Limestone Cave in Dave the Diver isn’t too deep, which means you won’t have to upgrade your equipment too much, yet, we recommend that you do it. You’ll find this biome around 75m in depth. It is a dangerous location and the first one with a few traps and more dangerous fish. The biggest challenge here is avoiding the currents, which will push you toward spikes. If you don’t avoid the current, you’ll hit these traps and lose oxygen fast, so bring some portable tanks to wait for the current to stop.

There are many interesting things in the Limestone Cave in Dave the Diver. First and foremost, you’ll be visiting this place for new fish. Some species you can find here include White Spotted Jellyfish and a few sharks. Besides that, you can also grab some Sea Grapes, which are necessary for some missions in the game. Also, given how combat will become more challenging here, we recommend you upgrade your main weapon before diving deeper. Yet, if you only want to catch the smaller fish, you can do so without worrying too much about your equipment.

This game has a lot of things to discover while diving and remember that anything you get can be used in your restaurant later. So, don’t be afraid of catching anything that crosses your path when diving into this addictive indie game.
