The sheer number of ingredients and recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley is impressive enough. There’s an incredible amount of gathering, harvesting, and fishing you can enjoy. When it comes to fishing, certain fish are found in certain biomes. In fact, some exist in multiple biomes. Tilapia is just one of many fish you can catch in Disney Dreamlight Valley once you know its location. We’re here to help you track this down so you can craft different recipes.

Tilapia Fish Location in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley Tilapia Fish Location

Thankfully, they are not hard to catch once you know where Tilapia spawn in the game. Also, you have 2 different locations to head to find this fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Frosted Heights
  • Sunlit Plateau

Of course, you must unlock these Disney Dreamlight Valley areas first before you set out to find Tilapia. You unlocking these opens you to plenty of other ingredients too. Frosted Heights will cost you 10,000, while Sunlit Plateau costs 7,000.

When you get to Frosted Heights, you will want to search the fishing spots for blue nodes. If you fish here, you have a higher chance of catching Tilapia in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Additionally, remember to bring a companion along with you. It will double your catch so you can add more Tilapia to your inventory.

Besides those obvious fishing areas, you can even get Tilapia via Moana’s boat. When you help her fix it, she will occasionally have fish in there. These fish are yours for the taking, so it is more than worth it, in the long run, to aid her in her quest.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, there is 1 specific recipe that requires Tilapia:

  • Pan-Seared Tilapia & Vegetables: Tilapia || 2 of any vegetable

Meanwhile, there are numerous that require any fish in which Tilapia can also come in handy. So, it pays well to keep this stocked up in your inventory when you don’t have other fish.
