Want to know how to find and catch Vampire Squid in Dave the Diver? As you progress through Dave the Diver, you must dive deeper daily, visit new locations, and look for various fish. Depending on the time of day, depth, equipment, and area, you can only catch a limited pool of sea creatures. In addition, some fish spawn rarely, as a result of which players cannot find them and do not progress along the quest lines. One such creature is the Vampire Squid, so we’re here to tell you where to find it in Dave the Diver.

To catch Vampire Squid in Dave the Diver, you must visit Glacier Passage and find it in the labyrinths of this place. This creature spawns throughout Glacier Passage regardless of depth, but only during the day. If you still need to unlock this location, you should know it is a massive labyrinth with tunnels and puzzles. In addition, a rather dangerous Giant Gadon boss lurks in the depths. But if you’re good at running and dodging, you won’t have a problem with this boss.

However, Vampire Squid is also not a safe target to hunt. So here are some tips to help you catch Vampire Squid faster:

  • First, we recommend using ranged weapons while hunting. While running away from you, Vampire Squid emits dangerous ink, and you should not swim in it. However, you can still use the Harpoon if you are confident in your agility.
  • Secondly, you should upgrade your Air Tank as best you can. As we said earlier, Glacier Passage is quite hard to navigate, and finding the Escape Pod can take longer than usual. It is also cold in this location, so get a Cold-resistant Diving Suit in advance.
  • Also, be careful when swimming near the bottom. Pelican Eels can attack you from under the ground.
  • When shooting a Vampire Squid, you should wait for the right moment. Like any squid, it floats in jerks and freezes periodically. Aim and shoot as soon as it stops. You will have to shoot several times before the squid dies.

Once you succeed and catch Vampire Squid, you can use its Tentacles to cook great meals. In addition, you will need to kill at least one Vampire Squid to complete the Who’s Fried Food is the Best quest.
