Inย Hogwarts Legacy, there are numerous items located around the magical castle. Mallowsweet Leaves are among the vital ones when it comes to the Merlin Trials. You cannot activate them without the Leaves. So, just where do you get Mallowsweet Leaves inย Hogwarts Legacy? Well, there are a few places you can head to. We’ll discuss them all and tell you the best way to keep a constant supply of them.

Where to Get Mallowsweet Leaves in Hogwarts Legacy

There are many quests and sidequests available in Hogwarts Legacy. But if you want to tackle some challenging puzzles, you want to participate in the Merlin Trials. To get to these Trials, you need to have Mallowsweet Leaves.

You will get a handful of Mallowsweet Leaves when you get to your firstย Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trial. These are given to you by Nora Treadwell.

Now, you can always head out into the open world to discover the herb. Check out areas like the Forbidden Forest, Coastal Cavern, Hogsmeade Valley, etc.

However, there are far quicker ways to gather all the Mallowsweet Leaves you will need:

  1. Buy the Leaves
  2. Buy Mallowsweet Seeds

Once you have access to Hogsmeade, you can visit The Magic Neep shop run by Timothy Teasdale. He will sell Mallowsweet Leaves for 100 Galleons. If you want instant access to the Leaves, then this is probably your best choice.

However, if you want to save your Galleons, then you can instead purchase Mallowsweet Seeds for 200 Galleons. This works out well in the long run since, once you plant them, you can always grow them. This way, you can get Mallowsweet Leaves when you need them in Hogwarts Legacy without buying more.

To plant them, you can use a small Planter in the Herbology classroom. This is the same one used for the Dittany Leaves. Simply interact with the pot to get started.

Alternatively, you can unlock Planters in the Room of Requirement to grow them there.

Regardless of what you plant them in, Mallowsweet Leaves take 10 minutes to grow in Hogwarts Legacy. You can’t be in the menu screen as that pauses the in-game timer.

Remember that you can use Fertilizer (also sold at The Magic Neep for 300 Galleons) to increase how many Leaves you will get.
