Treyarch Studios brought forth the idea of this new game mode, and it all started with a round-based concept that got approved to be a part of the final release. Which Was The First Ever Call of Duty Game To Feature Zombies?

Call of Duty: World At War was the first ever Call of Duty game to feature the Zombies mode as a part of its Co-Op experience. At first, you’d had to play through the campaign mode and complete the story to unlock a new level called Nacht Der Untoten. This was the first Zombies map in the Call of Duty franchise.

After the warm welcome of the fans for this game mode, the developers designed other maps for the Zombies, adding new elements like perk-a-colas and the pack-a-punch to the game.
