Which Diablo 4 Edition Should You Get? All Differences Explained
The forthcoming Diablo 4 has not one, not two, but three editions up for grabs: Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Ultimate. Each comes with a distinct set of features, some of which are available for other Blizzard games- provided you indulge in playing them. To lay your hands on these editions, pre-order them on the game’s official website or snag a console copy from your trusted local store.
First, we have the Diablo 4 Standard Edition ($69.99). It grants you access to a copy of Diablo 4 on your chosen platform and some other goodies. These include Early Access to the Diablo 4 Open Beta (happening March 17, lasting for 2 days), the Light Beared Mount, Inarius Wings & Inarius Murloc Pet for Diablo III, the Amalgam of Rage Mount for World of Warcraft, and the Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set for Diablo Immortal. However, remember that the additional items for other Blizzard games are sold separately (except for Diablo Immortal, which is “free”).
The Diablo 4 Digital Deluxe Edition (priced at $89.99) contains all the Standard Edition’s perks and a few extra surprises. These include four-day early access to the Diablo 4 Early Beta (two more days than the Standard Edition), the Temptation Mount, the Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor, and the Premium Seasonal Battle Pass.
Lastly, the Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition (costing $99.99) is their grandest version. This version has everything previously mentioned and includes a few additional perks. These include an Accelerated Premium Seasonal Battle Pass. where you start at Tier 20 immediately, and the Wings of the Creator Emote.
