A white man in California was filmed yelling racial slurs at his black neighbor and calling her a monkey in a shocking video.
The alleged racial harassment began after the black woman purchased a house in the same neighborhood as the man. He reportedly did not welcome her presence and had continued harassing her since she moved into the neighborhood.
The video began with the man filming the woman and mocking her over her tattoos and facial piercings. He then began making racist remarks toward her and black people more broadly. “This black [expletive] think she is some [expletive] lawyer, like all you monkeys,” he said. The man then gave her the middle finger while continuing to curse at her.
The man then repeatedly yelled the n-word at the woman while continuing to make inappropriate gestures toward her. “[N-word] ain’t real,” he said. As he continued repeating the racial slur, he began spelling it out as well. He then directed the same slur toward the woman and her “black boyfriend.”
“Go ahead and cry [n-word],” the man then said as he once again yelled the racial slur. He also claimed that the woman had moved into a “white neighborhood” and believed that people there would take her side. The continued alleged racial harassment led the woman to obtain a restraining order against the man. Despite the order, the harassment has allegedly continued. It is unclear whether she plans to pursue additional legal action.

Many viewers expressed outrage after seeing the white California man repeatedly yell racial slurs at his black neighbor, leading to a wave of criticism online. “This has to be against the law send this to the police. This guy is disgusting,” one person wrote. Another commenter disagreed, arguing, “Sorry but in the U.S. there is this thing called free speech. It especially applies to speech you don’t like. So no it’s not against the law IT IS THE LAW.”
