A white man in New York was allegedly caught stealing coffee before using racial slurs after being confronted.
The video documenting the situation was shared by a person who was inside the store where it occurred. “This guy was caught stealing coffee and asked to leave. The cops came and did nothing,” they wrote in a comment about the man. They also added text over the video that read, “Tired of these guys thinking they can say whatever they want.”
In the video, the man was seen threatening someone who had apparently touched him. “I would have you beat down like a dog. You would have been bleeding,” he threatened. He then noticed the cameraperson and told him to get it on camera before continuing with the threats. “Pray I don’t accidentally kill your [expletive] [expletive].” He then told the person who had allegedly touched him never to do it again.
“You see me on the street, back the [expletive] up and stay away from me,” he said. Following this, the man went on a racist rant, repeatedly using the n-word against the person he was threatening. “I’m allowed to say [n-word],” he said twice. He then pointed toward a woman and told her, “you’re the one that laughed you nasty [expletive].”
The man continued yelling and telling the cameraperson to record what he was doing and show the footage to police. He began to leave before returning and saying, “You are a black [expletive].” He eventually repeated that the person he was addressing had touched him and that it was a mistake. It remains unclear what happened next or why police allegedly did not take action.
