There is no denying that voice acting in video games greatly improved in the last couple of years. Many top-tier actors and actresses have performed in video games, and many voice actors have gained more popularity and fame throughout the years. God of War Ragnarok is no exception, with some of the best performances we’ve seen so far. We see Faye for the first time in God of War Ragnarok, and if you wonder who plays Faye in the game, then you’ve come to the right place.
Note: This article contains spoilers for God of War Ragnarok.
Who Plays Faye in God of War Ragnarok?
Laufey the Just, also known as Faye, is the second wife of Kratos. We didn’t see her in the first God of War game, but she played a big part nonetheless. She was a giant disguised as a human, and she appears many times in God of War Ragnarok as part of Kratos’ memories and visions.
Deborah Ann Woll plays Faye. An American actress and model are mostly known for her role as Jessica Hamby in HBO’s True Blood and Karen Page in Marvel’s Daredevil series and Punisher.
Faye is her first role in video games, and we hope she does more jobs since she has a talent for it. We could have even seen her in the first game, but the events and script of that game didn’t allow it.
Even though this is her first job as a voice actor in a video game, she has certainly given it all she can. On the other hand, it shouldn’t have been much of a problem for her since God of War Ragnarok uses motion capture for each scene, which is quite similar to shooting a film or TV series.

It is also worth mentioning that back in 2020, Victor D’Onforio praised the talent and work of Deborah Ann Woll which Cory Barlog, the creative director of God of War replied, “Completely agree! I am a fan.”
God of War Ragnarok is now available exclusively for PS4 and PS5.
