The latest episode of the newest Star Wars Disney Plus series Ahsoka, saw Ahsoka Tano relive some of her memories from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The episode, Part Five: Shadow Warrior, sees Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) continue her journey with Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) in the World Between Worlds, which was teased in the last episode. Fans might not have expected her environment to take the shape of a battle from the Clone Wars, regressing to her younger self as Anakin’s Padawan. While the younger Ahsoka was voiced by Ashley Eckstein in The Clone Wars, this version of Ahsoka was played by somebody else, and you might be wondering where you’ve seen her before. Here we’ll explain who plays young Ahsoka in Episode 5.

Who Plays Young Ahsoka in Episode 5? Explained
The name of the actress who plays the young version of Ahsoka Tano in Ahsoka is Ariana Greenblatt. If you recognize her don’t be surprised, as she starred in the highest-grossing movie of the year, at least so far. That’s right, Ariana Greenblatt played one of the main characters in Barbie. She played Sasha, who was the girl that Barbie originally left Barbieland to go find, only to realize that she was supposed to find her mother, who was played by America Ferrera. She also played Daphne Diaz in Stuck in the Middle, playing the younger sister of Jenna Ortega’s Harley Diaz.
Ahsoka isn’t the only time that Greenblatt has been cast as the younger version of a popular character, as she appeared in Avengers: Infinity War as the younger version of Gamora. She also played the young version of Nina Rosario in In the Heights and in Scoob! she voiced the younger version of Velma Dinkley. You also might have seen her earlier in the year, in 65 as Koa, alongside Adam Driver’s Mills. So, it seems like she’s a very in-demand 16-year-old. Not many 16-year-olds can say that they’re in the 6th and 14th highest-grossing movies of all time.
As for her role in Ahsoka as Young Ahsoka, it seems unlikely that we’ll be seeing any more of her. Unless Ahsoka travels back to the World Between Worlds for some reason, maybe using it as a means of escape with Sabine and Ezra if she finds them with Thrawn. There could also be a cheesy scene where she looks back at her younger self hanging out with Anakin like in Return of the Jedi, but that seems too hokey, even for Star Wars. You can watch Ahsoka on Disney Plus.
