Lately, it seems that every single video we see involving vehicles and people is a road-rage incident, which, if you think about it, is quite sad. However, that is not the case here; it is the complete opposite of road rage. Someone recently captured a wholesome driver in Los Angeles, California, doing a road rave. The term might sound alien right now, but it is just one person vibing with the music and teaching us that if we get into some vehicular shenanigans with others, the best way to resolve the situation might be a dance-off.
User SpoonerBooner shared the clip of a driver from Los Angeles, California, doing what many have dubbed a road rave. While we don’t have details of what transpired before this situation, many believe it might have been a road-rage incident, but it never happened because the man in the white truck decided to do something entirely different.
As you can see in the clip, the man being recorded rolls down his window and starts dancing to “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada. He performs an entire choreography without ever losing eye contact with the person behind the camera. This goes on for a couple of seconds until the lyrics stop and the man starts rolling the window up, then again, without losing sight of the cameraman. The latter laughs joyfully as this dance-off wraps up, as we assume both went on their separate ways.
The truth is, this is a wholesome situation we rarely see, especially on the road. Nowadays, people seem angrier than ever, and things escalate even faster behind the wheel. Still, it is great to see that there are people who, regardless of the situation, just want to handle things differently or throw some slick dance moves to bring joy to others.
Naturally, people loved this clip and shared their thoughts on this joyful man and how many things would improve if we’d just take the time to handle things more peacefully.
“I want to be friends with this guy,” commented one user.
“The world would be a better place if we settled our differences with a dance off,” said another person.
Realistically speaking, not every situation might benefit from a dance-off. Yet, it never hurts to try that out in some scenarios. At least, we’re glad that this wasn’t yet another road rage incident, and we can only hope that the road rave becomes famous around all of California and beyond.
