The ladies of The View shared their thoughts on the results of the election on Wednesday. Many people were eager to hear what Whoopi Goldberg had to say and if she’d make good on a previous promise she made.

Whoopi Goldberg’s Promise to Leave the Country

Fans of The View have seen the hosts reeling over the last several months. At one point, Whoopi Goldberg promised that she’d leave the country if Donald Trump was elected president. Now that he’s won the election, many people are wondering when she’s headed out.

The ABC show shared a clip of Goldberg’s reaction to the election results on Wednesday. In the comments, many people were wondering about her relocation promises.

“So Whoopi, do you need some help packing?” one person asked. “You said you were leaving if he won, bye Felicia!” another wrote. A third laughed, “When is your flight leaving?”

Yet another viewer wondered about Whoopi Goldberg’s promise. They wrote, “Ahem – I believe you made it very clear you were leaving America if Trump got elected. Bye Felicia – and take your gasbag friends with you.”

Whoopi’s Reaction Rack Up Millions of Views

When The View posted the ladies’ reactions to the presidential election on YouTube, it swiftly became one of the most-watched clips on the channel. Clips from the same episode have accrued a few hundred thousand views. However, the video of their reactions has racked up 1.9 million views over 22 hours.

As one person pointed out in the comments, it’s not because they like the show. Many people just wanted to see how the panel, who have all been vehemently against Donald Trump, reacted to the news. It wasn’t surprising to see a panel of glum faces on Wednesday’s episode of The View.

It also wasn’t surprising that Whoopi Goldberg failed to address her promise to leave the country if Trump won the presidency. Despite repeating the promise over and over again, it seems Goldberg and the rest of The View crew are here to stay.

Here’s a look at the reactions of the ladies on The View during Wednesday’s episode.
