Fans of Below Deck have accused season 10 star Alissa Humber of displaying narcissistic behaviors. Below Deck viewers first met Stew Alissa Humber when she debuted in season 10. She quickly became one of the most popular casts on the series when she started grabbing headlines alongside her crewmate Camille Lamb.
The duo’s relationship started negatively from the first moment due to their constant feuding. However, Camille quickly became the early season villain due to her poor work ethic and terrible attitude. Although fans noticed some holes in Alissa’s personality, Camille bared all the brunt. Their fractious relationship peaked when they engaged in a shouting match in front of charter guests. Shortly after that, Camille deservedly got her marching orders from Captain Sandy Yawn. However, once the disruptive Camille left, Alissa’s true character began to show.
Below Deck fans started noticing she was not as hardworking as she tried to portray, and her disrespectful behavior towards chief stew Fraser Olender became more glaring; Alissa also got involved in a love triangle with Katie Glaser and Ross McHarg despite being aware of the duo’s romance throughout the season. However, she seems to have bitten more than she can chew, as Sandy recently caught Alissa talking badly about her. While Sandy’s following line of action is not yet specific, the show’s viewers have already decided on her. Most of them have lost all respect for Alissa and think she no longer adds value to the job.
Alissa’s Rude and Condescending Behavior
Alissa actively pushed for Camille’s firing earlier in the season as the two constantly clashed. At the time, deckhand Ben Willoughby accused Alissa of gaslighting Camille and taking advantage of her superior position to bully her. Katie, who does not hide her dislike for Alissa, shared Ben’s sentiments. Katie was good friends with Camille and believed that Alissa always talked down on Camille, which was responsible for their constant fights. However, Ben and Camille agree that Camille should not have been fired.
Still, since Camille’s firing, Alissa has shifted her focus to Hayley De Sola Pinto. She has acted disrespectfully towards Hayley, with one particular instance where she called her a “gross, dirty b*tch” after ordering her to clean the bathroom. Recently, fans have watched Alissa call Captain Sandy “delusional” while talking to Fraser. Even after it became clear that Sandy might have heard her comments, she showed no remorse and told Fraser she did not care. Fans have also watched Alissa disrespect Fraser and sometimes outrightly ignore her superior officer.
Alissa’s Gaslighting and Annoying Sense of Entitlement
Alissa has a problem with everyone on the boat except Ross. Whenever the crew goes out to drink, fans have watched Ross and Alissa flirting with each other on numerous occasions. Although Alissa has admitted she has no plans for Ross, she continues to flirt with him despite knowing it angers Katie. At some point, she told Katie, Ross said nothing was happening between them. Most crew members are already accustomed to Alissa’s lousy behavior. More recently, Hayley claimed Camille may not have been the problem all along after she got insulted by Alissa.
Meanwhile, Sandy has caught Alissa being disrespectful to crew members several times, and the recent episode shows Alissa acting disrespectfully to Sandy. Alissa was spotted calling Sandy by her name before quickly changing it to Captain. Nevertheless, Sandy felt it was not a mistake but rather a deliberate attempt by Alissa to disrespect her. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, looking like Alissa was about to lose her job after Captain Sandy called her into her office for a chat.
