Often, many Roblox games throw players into a completely different vibe without much warning. In this pet-collecting experience, a seemingly random snowfall is one of those moments. If you just logged in and saw the sunny neighborhood turn into a winter wonderland, you’re not imagining things. As this is the perfect window to grab one of Adopt Me‘s easier Ultra-Rare Pets, the Ribbon Seal, if you know where to look.
Why Is It Snowing in Roblox Adopt Me? Answered

The snowy environment isn’t a random occurrence; it’s actually tied to the Snow Weather Update, first introduced back in May 2022. Since then, Adopt Me rotates its weather through several types every 2-5 days: normal, fall, snowy, desert, and rainy. If you want to check what’s coming next, see the Weather Board in front of the Accessory Shop or near the Adoption Island entrance.
Now here’s the important part: snowy weather isn’t just cosmetic. Just like the fall season, it triggers the appearance of a limited-time shop.
Where to Find the Secret Snowy Igloo Shop

The Snowy Igloo Shop is the main reason you should care about snow in Roblox Adopt Me. This limited shop only appears on the 28th of each month and stays for about 36 hours until the 30th.
When it’s active, head to Adoption Island, and you should see a frozen river that you can ice skate on. The Igloo Shop can be found behind the Santa Item Board or right in front of the Playground.
All Snow Exclusive Items & How to Get a Ribbon Seal in Adopt Me

Ribbon Seal is one of the exclusive Pets tied to the snowy rotation. The regular version is easy to grab, just spend 700 Bucks in the Snowy Igloo Shop. But if you’re aiming for Neon or Mega Neon, there’s something you shouldn’t forget.
Those upgraded variants can technically come from Basic Egg, Crystal Egg, and Admin Abuse Egg. However, the Ribbon Seal will only appear in Basic and Crystal Eggs while the snow weather is active. That means if you’re planning to hatch Neon or Mega Ribbon Seals, you’ll want to stockpile Eggs ahead of time and only open them when it snows.
In terms of trade value, a Mega Neon Ribbon Seal sits around 3.5 Sharks, or roughly 0.01 Frost Dragons. Below is the complete list of all items available in the Igloo Shop:

How to Get Albatross with Golden Clam

Aside from the Ribbon Seal, Albatross variants are the other snow-exclusive Pet. But you can’t just walk up to them and buy them with Bucks. Instead, you need to spend 169 Robux on a Golden Clam in the shop to tame Albatrosses.
Once you equip the Golden Clam, throw it inside the shop and wait for an Albatross to grab it. But don’t expect miracles, as the odds can be pretty rough:
- Albatross: 60%
- Golden Albatross: 37.5%
- Diamond Albatross: 2.5%
Just like other seasonal event items, the Golden Clam is useless outside the shop’s active period. Don’t waste the item when it’s not snowing if you’ve bought plenty of them.
