Wild Florida Woman Attacks Man With Pringles Can, Leaving Him With ‘Permanent Disfigurement’: ‘Once She Popped, She Couldn’t Stop’

Definitely had a chip on her shoulder

One Florida woman definitely “had a chip on her shoulder” when she attacked a random customer at a 7-Eleven gas station in Orlando. The victim, Martin Milburn, had walked into the store after noticing a man on the ground out front. He began a conversation with the staff at the checkout counter, informing the worker of a “male customer that was lying down on the side of the building,” Milburn turned to ask a nearby yet seemingly drunk customer, Shanika Serdahl, if she knew the guy outside. In a sudden rage, she threw a Pringles can at Milburn, splitting open his right eyebrow.

Serdahl was later arrested and charged with aggravated battery. However, according to an affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, Serdahl explains the reason behind her sudden attack was that Milburn “was saying rude things to her and being disrespectful.” Both the victim and the 7-Eleven employee claim this wasn’t the case. Milburn says that Serdahl “turned around and hit me above my eye with a Pringles can” after exclaiming, “That’s my man,” referring to the man lying outside. “The female called the guy a b**** and whacked him with the Pringles, which literally went flying down one of the aisles,” the worker recalled.

“Once she popped, she couldn’t stop,” jokes a top Reddit comment. “We know one thing: she had a chip on her shoulder,” quips a second. “This stacks up, yeah!” puns a third. “Was the can full? Or was she wearing it like a mega man blaster?” questions a fourth. While the concept of the wild Florida woman wielding the Pringles can like the 2022 “Get Stuck In” commercial would be hilarious, the report above instead states she chucked the can like a grenade.

While many commenters did their part to make puns or praise the crime report as a “proper Florid Man/ Florida Woman headline,” others were baffled that a can of chips could slice open someone’s eyebrow. “How do you split a person’s face with a Pringles can?” questions one Reddit user. “A cardboard can of PRINGLES?!” exclaims another. “You wouldn’t be able to waterboard the fact that I was successfully assaulted by a Pringles can out of me,” remarks a third.

Whatever the case, this story is a great lesson to help us recognize how dangerous seemingly harmless objects can be when thrown — that or a drunk Florida woman at a gas station.
