Humble Games has cemented itself as one of the better indie publishers out there. Over the years, the team has published greats such as Temtem and Forager, along with more recently Prodeus and Project Wingman. I’ve found myself especially enjoying the last two, with some wonderfully exciting gameplay and attention to detail. One of their titles, Wildfire, has been on PC for some time now and has seen universal praise critically and commercially. Starting today, more will have the chance to play this excellent indie. Wildfire is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for $14.99. To celebrate the launch, the team posted a fresh launch trailer which you can find below.

Wildfire is a 2D stealth platformer that puts you into a world where magic has long been dormant among the population. As a magic wielder yourself, you’ve been seen as a witch and hunted by unknown, evil forces who are stopping at nothing to put an end to you. Using the various magical forces at your disposal, you manipulate the world around you to handle the armies of the evil Arch Duchess. They want nothing but your death, so sometimes you must fight fire with fire. Quite literally in this case.

You can also experience the entirety of Wildfire with a friend, letting you share in the forbidden magic with your closest buddy. If that sounds like your cup of tea, head over to your console’s respective store and pick it up now. I promise you you won’t regret it. If you want more details regarding the game, you can check out its official site through Humble Games.

While Wildfire sits in my inevitably long backlog, I’m excited to eventually tackle this stunning pixel art adventure. If you’re going to purchase and play through it, be sure to let me know in the comments below.
