The Kansas City Chiefs have officially advanced to the 2024 Super Bowl. On Sunday, Jan. 28, the team beat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship. The match took place at M&T Bank Stadium, and of course, Taylor Swift was there to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, from the VIP section. Since the “Anti-Hero” singer has regularly attended the NFL star’s football games over the past few months, you’d naturally think she’d attend the Super Bowl as well. However, it’s not guaranteed. While she may want to go, her concert schedule will make it tricky.
Taylor Swift’s Possible Appearance at the 2024 Super Bowl
In just a few weeks, Swift will go back on the road for her Eras Tour. The star will kick off her 2024 dates with four performances in Tokyo, Japan, before heading to Melbourne, Australia. Although she doesn’t have a concert scheduled on the day of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11, she does have a show on Saturday, Feb. 10. The proximity of the two events could make getting to the Super Bowl tough, but it won’t be impossible, especially if she uses a private jet.
So, here’s the rundown. On Feb. 10, Swift is set to be on stage in Tokyo at 6 p.m. Since her concerts are between three and four hours long, Swift will likely be off stage by 10 p.m. While it takes around 12 hours to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas, the 17-hour time difference means Swift could get to the U.S. earlier than expected. If she leaves right after her concert, she could be stateside by Saturday night. That’s right. It’ll still be Saturday in Las Vegas, so it’s totally possible for Swift to attend Sunday’s game.
Although all of the traveling may be tiresome, Swift has already proven she’s willing to fly anywhere just to spend some time with Kelce. Ever since she and Kelce began dating, she’s traveled to various states like Missouri, New Jersey, and Wisconsin to see her boyfriend play.
With this in mind, Swift may show up at Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl after all.
