The video has since sparked a debate online regarding their current relationship, as some find this very strange. The video has gotten around 2.3 million views on the social media platform. It would be safe to say the internet is eating this one up.
In the TikTok, viewers can see when Adilene Meyers sits in a chair holding her husband’s self-help book. The video also has text on the screen that reads, “borrowed my husband’s book and found the cutest bookmark.” The rest appears in parentheses as it says, “pictures with a different girl.” The Wisconsin native would then open the book to show social media users the pictures. Sure enough, photobooth-style images of her husband with his ex-girlfriend can be seen used as a bookmark. The video’s comment section seemed pretty divided after this. However, one stated that the book had been sitting in the closet just “Waiting to ruin your day.”

Although not everyone found this situation as easy-going as some.

It would seem as though some are taking this situation very seriously, despite it not being their own relationship.
Although even with the debut in the comment section, it seems pretty normal for the Wisconsin woman to feel a slight bit of jealousy. Confronting your partner about their past relationships is an awkward but necessary conversation. Although it would appear the issues people have with the husband in this situation stem from him still holding on to the pictures all this time later. However, one commenter did have a slight counterargument. “Plot twist, it was her book, and her bookmark,” they say.
While this could very well be the case, there is truly no way of telling without asking the ex-girlfriend herself. Unfortunately, that’s something this married couple will most likely not be doing. It was later cleared up by the husband himself that the woman was actually just a friend. The man states that he and the woman in the photos never dated. Although even with that information, this is not the best look for the husband.
It would appear that the situation has been taken care of since the time of the TikTok being posted, though. The Wisconsin woman even allegedly hung the pictures up on their refrigerator as a joke. Although this story had a happy ending, this could be a sign for anyone holding on to things from past relationships. It may be time to just let it go.
