Assemble your squads, Caliber is loading up for its official release. It’s aiming for the Q2 window of 2023, so launch details have yet to be specified. However, ever since the beta phase for Caliber first appeared, developer 1C Game Studios has been administering updates. The time has now come for the PC launch of Caliber, as Steam wishlists are now open for the title for any interested fan and dedicated online soldier. There’s even an announcement trailer to boot! Let’s check out this upcoming shooter, shall we?
Caliber: New Online Shooter Officially Deploys This Year
Who doesn’t a love free game to play that just so happens to also be an online shooter? In comes Caliber, the new third-person action title from the aforementioned developer, 1C Game Studios. The team has been working on the game since its early phases in January 2015. It appeared in the public eye some years later, in December of 2019. Back then, only beta tests were being offered – here and there – as they continuously tweaked the game. It’s reported that over 2.3 million fans have dived into Caliber.
Now, eight years later, Caliber is locked and loaded, ready for real action. To get players ready, 1C Game Studios have together a quick Steam Announcement trailer for Caliber. And when we say brief, it’s definitely that – the trailer is clocked in at 20 seconds. In the footage, you get a good taste of the third-person shooting experience, as well as a quick intro to the classes (very much like in the vein of the Battlefield franchise). We’ve attached the footage above.
Of course, with all of this in mind, 68 playable gamers can come together for a round of Caliber when it launches later this year for Q2, 2023. You can wishlist the title by stopping by the Steam page for the game. There, you will also find links to the game’s website and YouTube channel.
