The Witcher Con will be available on YouTube and Twitch, featuring panels highlighting the video game series developers and the talents behind the Netflix adaptation. The convention will also make announcements for projects across the franchise like the Witcher mythos and the upcoming mobile game, The Witcher: Monster Slayer.
The Witcher is a game centered around Geralt of Rivia, found unconscious and suffering from amnesia at the start of the game. Eventually, he learned that he is a prominent witcher and has enemies and friends everywhere. He will redefine his relationships with the people and choose his path with the help of the player.
In the game, Geralt has to choose his path from the three primary paths available. These are:
- The Scoia’tael path: Geralt will ally himself with fellow nonhumans, Elves.
- The Order path: Geralt will ally himself with the Order of the Flaming Rose that aims to protect the citizens of Temeria.
- The Witcher or neutral path: Geralt will side with neither the Scoia’tael nor the Order. He will simply do what he feels right.
At the end of the game, Geralt will receive a reward for dispatching the Grandmaster and his mutants. He will notice corpses of drowsy guards as the White Wolf approaches the palace doors. He then draws his sword and rushed to the king’s study. He found Foltest under attack by an assassin.
A fight ensues between Geralt and the assailant. However, he got distracted by a coin purse, causing him to sever an arm. The assailant is unmasked and has an unfamiliar face but with very familiar eyes.
