Rather than keeping his promise, the father told her he spoke with his mom, who believed she didn’t need a mixer. They wanted to give her a hand mixer instead because it was cheaper. To make things worse, he told her, “It’s not like you need anything special anyway.” Despite this heartbreaking situation, Anita shared that her neighbor still came over to give her a stocking she had crocheted for her dog. Anita posted a GoFundMe after many people offered to help make her neighbor’s dream come true. In less than two days, they managed to gather enough money to buy her the mixer. With everyone invested, the Colorado woman shared a video of when she surprised her neighbor with the mixer. The heartwarming video showed the neighbor’s shock as she opened up her surprise and saw the mixer. She didn’t hesitate to hug her friend and thank her for what she did. “You are so good to me,” she told her through tears. It might be a small gift, but it could change her life. She plans to use the mixer to make recipes and start a small business so she can help her family. No one should feel like they don’t deserve something nice for Christmas.
