Wonder Woman’s daughter is making a name for herself in her very own comic. Next year, Tom King and Daniel Sampere are bringing Elizabeth “Lizzie” Prince back to readers in Trinity Special #1. Joining King and Sampere, who helped usher Trinity into the DC Universe, is artist Belen Ortega. While Sampere is handling main cover duty, Mitch Gerads, Evan Shaner, Jorge Jimenez, and Ortega will handle variants. The one-shot will feature Wonder Woman’s daughter in some of her earliest adventures as she makes a name for herself in DC.
Wonder Woman’s Daughter
Trinity made her first appearance in Tom King and Daniel Sampere’s Wonder Woman #800. In the issue, Elizabeth Marston Prince is revealed to be the daughter of Wonder Woman from a future timeline. The superhero sure seems to take after her mother. She introduces herself as the Champion of the Amazons, the Leader of the Justice League, and the first holder of the Three Lassos of Fate.
This new solo comic may suggest that Wonder Woman’s daughter is about to become a staple in DC’s main universe. It may also hint that a new Young Justice League is about to become a staple in the comics. Trinity, alongside Damian Wayne’s Batman and Jon Kent’s Superman, are emerging as some fan favorites. This solo one-shot might be DC testing the waters about such a team-up in the future.
A Special One-Shot For A Special Hero
The official description of the upcoming one-shot promises a look at the earlier adventures of Wonder Woman’s daughter. This includes a fun adventure featuring a young Lizzie and her Super Son babysitters. Plus, it includes a reprinting of Trinity’s first appearance and a look at what the future holds for this soon-to-be iconic character.
