Bruce and Damian Wayne are making it a family affair in Dawn of DC’s upcoming Batman and Robin series. Joshua Williamson and Simone Di Meo are teaming up to reunite the father-son duo for a new adventure. The series will pick up after recent events like Lazarus Planet and Knight Terrors that left a mark on both DC heroes. Now, a new threat looms over Gotham, and it is up to Batman and Robin to put aside their issues to stop it.

This new series was announced back in March of this year. Back then, the comic publisher teased that the series would bring Batman and Robin back together to investigate some mysterious new cases and monsters in Gotham. Now, we have a better idea of what writer Joshua Williamson and artist Simone Di Meo have in store for the Dynamic Duo.

This Dawn of DC series is putting the focus back on Bruce and Damian after both have been through quite the ringer. However, there is no time to rest as some of Batman’s most monstrous are teaming up. And they are aiming to turn Gotham into their own urban jungle. Meanwhile, a new threat watches from the shadows with revenge on the mind. Plus, a plot to turn one of Batman’s greatest assets against him. Will Damian be able to help solve the case, or will personal drama and unsettled disputes get in the way?

Batman and Robin #1 Panel Previews

DC has revealed some interior panels for Batman and Robin #1. These panels show Di Meo’s gorgeous artwork and tease a little of what is in store for the Dynamic Duo. We see Damian and Bruce settling into life together after so much turmoil and drama. The duo is busy looking at some 3D maps of Gotham that seem to pinpoint some crime throughout the city. This leads to some panels on the precipice of the real action. The father-son duo is suited up and ready to stop a thug in the middle of some crime. Of course, this likely leads to revelations about what is happening in Gotham.

Batman and Robin debuts next month as part of the Dawn of DC Initiative.
