Solaris-3 only has direct portals from PC and mobile devices, or so it was until now. But here’s a piece of news that’s sure to make you feel special. Wuthering Waves has just announced an exclusive collaboration with PlayStation 5 on their social networks. This means Wuthering Waves will be available on Sony’s console, a privilege reserved for a select few Rovers. So, if you’re a proud owner of a PS5 and already play WuWa or want to give it a try, your time is about to arrive.
This collaboration is ideal as this kind of gacha game has quests, events, and activities to spend your energy on a daily basis. With more platforms like the PlayStation 5, players can complete their daily activities and deplete all their Waveplates in Wuthering Waves from anywhere. Also, mobile Rovers, which don’t have the PC option, are very excited because they will be playing with a controller. Using a controller in battles is much more comfortable, undoubtedly. Personally, I definitely can’t wait to play with a controller, as opposed to a touch screen or a keyboard.
Unfortunately, there is no date or approximate release date for Wuthering Waves for PlayStation 5 in the announcement. The announcement only mentions that development has started and it will arrive in the future. So far, several of the popular games have taken a couple of months from release until they were available on PS5. Of the recent games of this type, only Zenless Zone Zero had a PS5 release from the start. So, PlayStation players will have to be patient for a wee bit longer. Let’s hope it won’t take the same time as the supposed arrival of Genshin Impact on Nintendo Switch almost four years ago!
