Xbox Game Pass, the Microsoft subscription service with hundreds of games (and a killer deal if you ask me), has announced its lineup for early May 2022! The lineup features a major focus on RPG titles alongside a few other gems, though don’t let just me tell you that. Here’s the full lineup on each platform so you can see for yourself!

Xbox Game Pass – Early May 2022 Titles
Loot River Review Hub World

  • Loot River – Available today!
  • Trek to Yomi – May 5
  • Citizen Sleeper – May 5
  • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition – May 10
  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising – May 10
  • This War of Mine: Final Cut – May 10

All titles above are coming to Console, Cloud, and PC, though the unlisted NHL 22 is coming exclusively to Console. That aside though, we’re in for a great start to May with today’s lineup. Loot River, as just one example, is a great roguelike soulslike that combines great visuals with interesting combat innovations and plenty of unlockables. I even did a review on it, which you can check out here. The upcoming Trek to Yomi looks great as well, especially with it being both a Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog title. Otherwise, plenty of critically acclaimed and hyped RPGs are making their way to the service that you’re sure to enjoy.

As for what’s departing on May 15, here’s what you should try before they leave the service for good:

  • GTA: San Andreas (the only title on this list to leave on May 10)
  • The Wild at Heart
  • The Catch: Carp & Coarse Fishing
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Remnant: From the Ashes
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
  • Steep

Be sure to give each of the titles you might fancy on there a go before they’re gone from the service. For now though, which of the early May 2022 Xbox Game Pass titles do you plan to try? What do you hope to see later this month? Let me know in the comments below!
