Microsoft announced a new batch of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass for Cloud, Console, and PC in January 2022, with some titles going live today. Let’s take a look at how the service will kick off 2022.

Gorogoa (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox
Originally released in 2017, Gorogoa is a beautifully hand-drawn puzzle game. Players arrange and combine illustrated panels to unravel its narrative.
Olija (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox
Olija is a game about the quest of Faraday, a man shipwrecked and trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. He and the other castaways must try to leave this country and make it back to their homeland in one piece.
The Pedestrian (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox
Rearrange and reconnect public signs to explore the environment in this 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle adventure.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Console and PC) EA Play – January 6
Play through the original Mass Effect trilogy, remastered and optimized for 4K UHD. Coming to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate, the Legendary Edition includes the single-player content from all three games, plus over 40 DLC. The trilogy was rumored to be coming to Xbox Game Pass months ago, and it looks like the rumors were true!

Explore a vast, hand-crafted solar system filled with secrets to discover and perils to avoid. Use your spaceship, jetpack, surveyor probes, and signal scopes to learn more about the worlds around you.
Spelunky 2 (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – January 13
Carve your own path through randomly generated dungeons in this roguelike platformer.
The Anacrusis (Game Preview) (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – January 13
Available on day one with Xbox Game Pass, The Anacrusis is a four-player, cooperative first-person shooter set aboard a massive starship stranded at the edge of explored space. Fight against alien hordes with your friends and unlock new weapons, perks, and new styles of play.

Minecraft New Year’s Celebration – Through January 17
Let the festivities begin! Through January 17th, the Minecraft Marketplace will be filled with giveaways, weekly free maps including the Caves & Cliffs Explorer’s Map from Spark Universe and Mithey’s Howl of the Wild Map, and a free YouTube Creator skin pack.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15
We’re sad to see these titles leave, but there is still time to hop on and finish your playthroughs. The games leaving the service this month are:

- Kingdom Hearts III (Console)

- Yiik: A Postmodern RPG (PC)
PUBG: Battlegrounds will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 10, but will return as a free-to-play title on January 12.
