Update those Holiday wish-lists because Xbox‘s Game with Gold program has a new lineup for December. This, in tandem with Xbox One Backward Compatibility, will give Xbox players plenty of hours of entertainment options for this December.

During the month of December players, with access to Xbox Live Gold, will have the chance to download and play four new game titles. Two of the titles are scheduled for the Xbox 360, with the remaining two scheduled for Xbox One. This is all a part of the popular, Games With Gold, program.

The exciting lineup was announced today on Xbox official website. It appears that players with a Xbox 360 will receive Castlestorm, available December 1st-15th, and Sacred 3, available December 16th-31st. It also appears that players will receive a bonus download of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising for free from December 16th-31st. Players with a Xbox One will receive Thief and Van Helsing for free as a download. The offer is valid from December 16th through January 15th.

Now is a great time to consider purchasing a Xbox One before the new year begins. Be sure to note that the Games with Gold free offers are extended to current Xbox Live members only. However, there are a number of Xbox One bundles that include Xbox Live Gold memberships like the ‘Gears of War Ultimate Edition with a three-month Xbox Live Gold membership.  Visit the official Xbox website for more details.

Check out the full December Games with Gold lineup below:

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing ($14.99 ERP): Available from December 1-31 on Xbox One

Thief ($29.99 ERP): Available from December 16-January 15 on Xbox One

CastleStorm ($9.99 ERP): Available from December 1-15 on Xbox 360

Sacred 3 ($19.99 ERP): Available from December 16-31 on Xbox 360

Bonus: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising ($9.99 ERP): Available from December 16-31 on Xbox 360
