XDefiant Beta Date? April 13, 2023
An anonymous source leaked info that XDefiant is getting a beta dated April 13, 2022. Here’s what the leaker had to say:
“The XDefiant Closed Beta will go live on April 13 – at 1:00 PM EST. The NDA will be dropped during this beta phase. The beta will last roughly 10 days.
Some features of the beta:
-Streamer Mode settings
-New map, Echelon HQ
-Twitch Drops
-EXCLUSIVE Battle Pass rewards which give you items you will keep when the game launches
-New ability for the Phantom faction.”
The new beta will last a total of 10 days and is said to feature some new modes. Recently, Ubisoft stated that streamers will get to capture footage of the game and upload it to major media websites without having to sign any NDAs whatsoever.
As stated earlier, the new Ubisoft title will feature a plethora of characters from different IPs. Phantoms are making a cameo from the Ghost Recon games. Watch Dogs’ DeadSec hackers are making their way into the title too. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as we’re getting characters from IPs, the likes of The Division, and Splinter Cell too.
Each faction is said to feature three different characters to choose from. The map roster for XDefiant seems to be pretty fleshed out, with a total of more than 15 playable maps from the get-go. But can it compete against Ubisoft’s already critically acclaimed competitive shooter, Rainbow Six Siege?
So, what are your thoughts on XDefiant’s beta date set for April 13, 2023? Are you going to try it out?
