A 7-year-old boy from Michigan came home from school just like every day. However, his mother was quickly surprised to find that he had become $200 richer while at school. The boy, named Daxon, excitedly showed his mother what his friend, RJ, had given him during playtime at school before pulling out two $100 bills. The mother was obviously confused and had plenty of questions about how Daxon got the money and why RJ would give him so much cash at school.
“I got $200,” the Michigan boy yells while running up to his mother. “Who did you get that from?” she asks him. “RJ, my friend,” he replies innocently. “Does RJ’s mom know that he gave you $200?” she asks. “That is a lot of money. I think we have to call RJ’s mom,” she adds.
Once the little boy realizes that he might lose the cash, she steps back and tells his mother that the money is “probably fake.” She quickly tells him that it’s not fake. “I don’t know what kids do nowadays,” she says, completely baffled.
Michigan Boy Brings Home $200 From School And Leaves TikTok In Stitches
The woman who posted the video on TikTok is Daxon’s older sister. She couldn’t help but laugh at the situation. Later, she gave an update with Daxon in the video. In that clip, Daxon tells his big sister that he wasn’t the only one who got money from RJ at school.
In that video, Daxon confirms that RJ is his friend with whom he plays at school. He also said he had no idea that he was going to get $200 from his playmate. “He said, ‘here you go, because I missed your birthday.’ He gave me birthday money,” Daxon said of the encounter.
Daxon went on to reveal that RJ also gave $200 to their other friend, Isaac, who also plays with them at recess. “Where did he get the money from?” the big sister asks. Daxon makes a silly face before saying, “His piggybank?”
The sister can’t help but giggle while trying to understand the situation. “Who just has four loose $100 bills laying around?” she questions. “I don’t know. RJ,” Daxon replies.
TikTok got hilariously invested in the story, and the comment section was nothing short of amusing. “He’s about to learn a lesson in never telling his parents anything,” one person joked. “Is RJ accepting friend applications?” said another. “RJ handing out $200 like candy,” a third commenter wrote. “I think RJ about to be grounded for life,” a fourth person stated. “Bet that’s rent money,” another guessed.
In a third video, the big sister says that both her mother and Isaac’s mother sent the money in an envelope to the Michigan school with the boys. They then had Daxon’s teacher reach out and sort things out. So, the internet may never know where RJ got the money, and how his mom responded to him giving it away to his friends on the playground.
