In Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, you will want to be able to face everyone prove that you’re the best. To truly get the biggest size of opponents, players will want to be able to play against others that aren’t on their console of choice. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel follows the recent trend of games over the last few years, including cross-play in their multiplayer games so that people can play with each other no matter their platform of choice, so players will want to know how to get the feature to work. This guide will explain how to activate cross-play in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.
How to Activate Cross-play in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel
The cross-play feature is on by default and is supported on all game versions. No matter what platform you and your friends decide to duel on, you will be able to play with them. To play with a friend, you simply need to invite them by entering their Player Number ID. This number can be found by clicking on the Profile button in the upper left-hand corner of the main menu. With your friend’s ID, head to the main menu and click on the Friends tab in the top right. This will take you to the menu pictured below. Enter your friend’s number, and their profile should come up, and you will be able to invite them to a duel.

The game features a cross-save feature along with cross-play, allowing you to transfer your progression and decks between systems. To do this, you need to make a My Konami account to enable you to link your accounts. This might not be necessary for the cross-play feature, and it is good to know that you will be able to continue where you left off if you happen to change platforms. This, along with the cross-play feature, will allow you to play on anything and play with anyone in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/ S, and PC, with iOS and Android versions coming later in the year.
