Yvette Nicole Brown has already put Khloé Kardashian on notice, but now, she has an even stronger message for her. In case you missed it, this Kardashian reality star has riled everybody up again after her recent posts about the Los Angeles wildfires. The mother of two made a post on Instagram recently calling out Karen Bass, the mayor of LA, for her handling of the Palisades fires. (Los Angeles and the surrounding areas have been in a state of emergency since early January after several wildfires burned thousands of acres and killed more than 20 people.) “Mayor Bass, you are a joke!!!!” Khloé wrote on social media. However, YVB, known for her roles in Community and Avengers, wasn’t going to let that slide. So, what did she have to say?
Yvette Nicole Brown Slams Khloé After She Attacked the Mayor of Los Angeles
On Instagram, Yvette Nicole Brown responded to Khloé Kardashian’s comments about Mayor Bass. She posted a screenshot of an article from Rolling Stone that detailed Khloé’s water usage in 2022. At the time, Koko reportedly used 101,000 gallons of water over the allotted monthly limit. “This is from 2022 when Los Angeles was in the midst of a drought,” YVB captioned her post on social media. “Every citizen was asked to conserve for the good of everyone else. Y’know, because of fires? This is how some citizens responded to the ask.” She finished: “Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?”
YVB Seemingly Threatens Khloé While Saying She’s Standing Up for Black Women
The comments under YVB’s post were overwhelmingly positive. “Yvette’s standing on business calling EVERYONE out, and I am here for it,” one user said. Another user also chimed in, praising Brown for protecting Black women. “We’re going to defend Black girls with our full chest,” they wrote. “We will not let folks rewrite history. So, watch your mouth when you’re talking to us or about us.”
Brown clearly agreed because the Drake & Josh actor shared a screenshot of the post on her IG feed. “This,” she captioned the post. “You don’t want us to have to tell you again. Don’t start none, won’t be none. Watch your manners and your mouth. We good? We should be good.”
Khloé’s Sister Is Advocating for Incarcerated Firefighters During la Travesty
While Khloé continues to start beef with Yvette Nicole Brown and Mayor Bass, her sister, Kimberly, is advocating for those sacrificing their lives for their city. On Instagram, the TV superstar posted an emotional story, thanking first responders “for everything” they were doing to save Los Angeles. She continued, calling out the bravery of the firefighters, many of whom are incarcerated. She slammed the city for paying them a dollar an hour despite risking their lives to “prove to the community that they have changed.”
The Kardashians also gave back to the community by donating several meals to “fire stations” across the city. “My family and I wanted to feed a few firehouses today, and we couldn’t think of a better restaurant to reach out to other than @carouselrestaurant,” Khloé wrote online. “Our favorite Armenian restaurant! They whipped up hundreds of individual meals for so many firefighters, volunteers, first responders, and we could not be more thankful! Thank you for putting your lives on the line for all of us!”
